Ceilidh Review

Web-Based

First of all, while most software developers are still struggling to create truly web-based environments, Ceilidh is already web-based. Loaded onto the server, the program creates a database of registered users. Guests may visit the site and use the program, but with limited usage options. Students and instructors have no software to load onto their PC and no preferences to set, nor do they need to have a certain type of word processor in order to use the program. Students from anywhere in the world can access and use the system using any basic PC with Internet access and a browser. Messages are posted instantly creating a virtually synchronous environment.
