At the annual CCCC, Cindy Selfe arguably the most
influential figure in the history of the Computers & Writing
subdiscipline announces that her journal,
Computers & Composition, will be launching an
online partner publication. She off-handedly remarks that other publications
including
Computer-Mediated Communication Magazine have provided
a precedent for such work. More than half of the CMCM staff is
on hand to hear her remarks. Somebody whispers "Yeah, but CMC isn't
peer-reviewed ..."
