Vision: The Future of Writing
(Salvo's Story)

The user experience would be something like this:

A student sits down. S/he doesn't know what eir writing level is. The program offers five basic statements about writing and asks the student to chose the one closest to eir feelings about writing. With this information, the database suggests another five statements and so on and so on until there is a pretty good sense of the student's expectations.

Then the program starts to offer explanations, descriptions, maps, pictures and other representations of concepts and writing procedures until, through the student's selection patterns, appropriate writing advice is offered.

Okay, swiss cheese has fewer holes. What kind of plan could make this work?
