(Salvo's Story)
Corey Wick ... Corey continues to amaze me: for instance, when working on his dissertation, he convinced whatever corporation he was interning with that they would profit from his research. They agreed, paying him a salary and paying for his apartment while he was writing. If anyone else has worked out such a deal, I have yet to hear about it! Remember Corey singing "El Paso Man" in '95? Neither do I thanks, Juarez! After C&W '96 in Logan, we rented a convertible Mustang (after Tony Rue returned his) and I drove through the mountains at 40 MPH because I'm a chicken. Corey raced through those curves at 100+, and I thanked him by losing his, mine, and all the golf balls we found on the links in Utah. Corey golfs but I do not. We would have gone fishing but for all the flooding, which is what made the links so challenging.
