The idea behind the Continuum of Digital Access is that access is not a unitary concept. One student may have an exceptional home computer and high speed access, but lack the skills to use them to her advantage. Another student may have adequate skills to use a campus computer lab, but lack a home computer.Level of access is, therefore, the sum of a number of diverse elements, and will vary from student to student.
