Student Work

Dr. DiCaglio would like to thank the students of his Technical and Professional Editing courses at Texas A&M University from 2017–2022, who took his assignment in its slowly evolving forms. This work would not be possible without their work.

Although all work on Wikipedia is public domain, we have attempted to ensure anonymity where possible. We have tried to select examples where students used aliases in their Wikipedia projects and only highlight positive contributions.

The work in this project was cleared through an IRB at Texas A&M University (IRB2020-0591).

Wikipedia and Wiki Education

Thank you to all the Wikipedians who took time out of their schedules to work with my students, often multiple times across many iterations of the course.

Finally, we would like to acknowledge Wiki Education for their outreach to assist educational efforts on Wikipedia.
