There are several concepts, issues, questions, and passages in Banks’s book that seems teachable within a variety of courses, particularly graduate seminars that deal with issues of race, technology, and composition theory. I offer the following as the more intriguing ones my graduate course on racism and the teaching of English found when discussing this book.
