While
many of the ideas about hypertextuality, interconnection,
interaction and the design of "experience"
mentioned by all these works have been useful, I have
also come to the conclusion that our field will always
continue to be, as Lunefeld mentions in his introduction
to a Digital Dialectic, a work in progress,
a continually
uncompleted, unfinished and unresolved form of teaching,
study, and creation—an ongoing, never ending dialectical
exchange between creator and audience, designer and
user, instructor and student.
