5. Thinking is a function of learning, not knowledge (16). As an avant-garde way of conceiving literacy, digital literacy is neither recognized across disciplines nor by the public as the dominant mode of expression and communication. We must work to inform not only our students, but also our colleagues and our public of these crucial differences.
