Assignment:
Choose one scene from this film that you find interesting, significant, and long enough to sustain your essay of about 1000 words.

Analyze the scene, closely examining and explaining the form and function of the following aspects:

(1) Dialogue
(2) Character development
(3) Lighting
(4) Music and other sounds in addition to dialogue
(5) Camera angle and movement

Make sure your scene analysis essay has a thesis that advances your theory about the way in which the scene you choose to analyze fits into the film as a whole. Your thesis may focus primarily on character development, plot development, or the film's theme.
