Demonstration

The LRO fosters demonstration, for students must reconstruct their processes; students must demonstrate how they learn.  Part A allows students to demonstrate their knowledge by requiring them to write about how they learn and how their learning has changed over time.  The data collection allow students to form connections between their texts. Part B allows students to reflect on their learning processes over the course of the semester, and Pact C allows students to argue for a grade based on their learning in the course and their demonstration (in parts A, B, C, and the data collection). Through the process of writing about and observing their learning, students demonstrate their learning and the processes and connections involved in such. By demonstrating their learning in such ways, students form new connections in their learning and refine their processes.
