progressA breakthrough came during the fourth online class - since the second day, the students were much more diligent about remaining on task and we accomplished the work of the class online. During that fourth class, two hearing students commented that they "heard" John's voice for the first time through the text-based exchange. I agreed, and commented that many students were beginning to develop text-based voices, indicating an increase in fluency in standard written English.
