About the Authors

Alisha Karabinus is a Ph.D. student in the English department at Purdue University, where she studies rhetoric and composition. She also earned an M.F.A. from Purdue in creative writing, and her current research interests include games studies, feminist theory, and digital community and identity.

Bianca Batti is a doctoral candidate in the English department at Purdue University, where she is completing her Ph.D. in 20th and 21st century American literature. She received her M.A. in English at San Diego State University and her B.A. in literature and writing at the University of California at San Diego. Her current research interests include feminist theory, games studies, and postmodern literature.
