He sat there holding her not understanding why she was crying. This happened to him too often and it frustrated him. He often wondered why he had no emotions. He couldn't even describe what they were. He just new that he could hear her sobbing. He felt the warm tears run onto his ultra silk shirt and her shuddering with each whimper.

Earlier that day they had been having a picnic in the central plaza of SimCity. It was one of the few places where the air was still fresh and grass covered the ground. This was due to the circulating system and the UV field. The cost to rent a plot for the day was steep, but he was willing to pay because she wanted to go there. She was his prize possession. A genetically engineered woman that would cause any man to cower by her beauty. Unfortunately, she was all flesh, and therefore expressed human emotions. Simon viewed her as a trophy and an outlet for pent-up energy.

He was surprised when she brought up the idea of marriage. To him the idea was asinine, but it apparently meant the world to her. She said that she wanted to settle down and raise a family. At that instant, Simon realized that he had lost his trophy. So he told her it was the end and held her. Not because he felt anything, he just didn't no what else to do.
