Is this the end? Of course not. If you have learned anything through our little adventure you would realize that there is no end. There is only direction. And that is for you to choose. Closure doesn't exist in the world of hypertext. It certainly can't exist in cyberspace. Cyberspace is like any other space, it cannot be filled. Just when you think that the journey may be comming to end, you discover that has only began. And so our journey begins, broadening our minds and exploring the new world called cyberspace.
Let your mind go free. Loose all of your traditional conventions. Just flow with the rhythm of the text. This new medium has been described by Michael Joyce, a hypertext novelist, as musical. In essence it is. You can think of the text as the beats and the links as the transitions. The images add flare as do the backgrounds, just like an orchestra. Joyce also notes that this is a new language, a new way of communicating. Accepting new things is always difficult, but once a base is established, it is almost if you had always possessed the skill. Don't be intimidated by this new technology. With fear comes prejudice, and that is one thing this world cannot afford.
