Each of
the three main essays in this hypertext cluster are
divided into a number of smaller subsections that make
the most sense if they are read in a linear fashion.
To accommodate linear reading, on the bottom left hand
side of every subsection page you will see a link named
:: More ::.
This link moves you forward, in linear fashion, to the
next page in each essay subsection. If you wish to move
back to a previous page, you should use the back button
on your browser. When you reach the end of a subsection,
you see a link named ::More
___ topics:: (in
the space you will see the name of the main essay you
are reading: Inspiration,
Innovation, or Illumination).
This link moves you to the table of contents for each
essay, where you can then choose to choose the next
subsection in order, or skip further down or up to a
subsection title that piques your interest.
Throughout the site, at the bottom
right hand corner of every page you see a list of links
that take you directly to the major essays of this hypertext
cluster. Along with links to Inspiration,
Innovation, and Illumination,
I have provided you a direct link to
the citations section where you can read through
the print and image citations for this work, and a link
to the frequently asked questions
page which provides a list of questions we are commonly
asked about our project.
Because the moving image is often
the fastest way to transmit complex concepts, I encourage
you to view the QuickTime
demo of the CompuObscura in action. A link to this
demo is available on the center of the main page for
this hypertext cluster, but you will also discover links
to this demo all through this work. I recommend you
view this video demo a number of times to get a clear
idea of how the CompuObscura will eventually function
when our project is complete.
