Some criteria that you can use to analyze zines are the following:
 
A.
Rhetorical features such as audience; purpose, delivery, use of appeals; style and delivery; evaluation and analysis of content; 

B.
Technical and structural criteria such as layout and design features, navigational access, advertisements and links; interactive capabilities, and how well the e-zine uses these in terms of creating logos and ethos;

C.
Cultural studies issues such as identity and community formation; audience reception; ideologies and values the zine upholds; its relationship towards dominant culture in terms of how it resists or reinforces ideologies found in mainstream media.
