Generating New Theory for Online Writing Instruction (OWI)
Beth L. Hewett earned her Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition at The Catholic University of America. As the OWL Coordinator, she developed the Online Writing Program for SMARTHINKING, Inc.™ She completed the bulk of this webtext during her tenure there. Beth continues to be involved actively in both the development of materials and training of online instructors with the SMARTHINKING Education Program.
