I describe the work my high school students are doing on the Internet. Students have formed social action groups, and are creating Web pages around areas of concern (www.geocities.com/lorimayo_99/sagroups.html). We are attempting to deal with issues of inequity in areas such as education, economics, gender, and race (review www.geocities.com/jhs2098 for one student's perspective on the work we are doing).
The Internet has made it possible for us to easily communicate with students across the country and around the world. I detail correspondence between my students and others, as they try to work together for change.
