Sharing will help both practice and discourse; discourse is the language that describes and theorizes and expands upon practice. These things do not happen separately or one after the other. They're no more linear than the writing process is; theory/practice/discourse are recursive, shaped and reshaped by each other. They color each other and define each other constantly.
