- Develop Specific Learner Activities
Decide and develop specific learner activities. It is important to develop specific activities that make learning meaningful. Make use of your learners' existing knowledge. Anchor activities in realistic settings and provide multiple ways to learn content (Wilson, Teslow, & Osman-Jouchoux, 1995).Activity examples may include World Wide Web searching and development of class assignments and instructional materials. With beginning workshop participants, you may want to develop group activities. This would allow learners to form different groups to work on a workshop activity for a specific software application. Sample answers to questions are provided in italics.
