Are computers over-emphasized as an educational tool or are America's teachers technophobic? Is society placing too little or too much pressure on technology in the school system? In today's technology-driven world, the answers to these questions are prevalent in educating our youth. The educational system should be revamped to include more utility for technology.
School systems, public and private alike, around the country should realize that the entire world utilizes technology, and it would behoove them to adjust their school curricula accordingly to prepare youth to compete in a global workforce. This technology, however, should not be implemented in place of teachers, but only to augment what they are instructing the students.
