HIR-- 1) a conflation of "him" and "her" used as a substitute
for the binary him/her 2) importantly pronounced "her" to stave off the
lopsidedness of said binary 3) used instead of the singular "they," which
would work in the context of a singular yet plural "we,"
but would not directly imply the conflation of the binary 4) used in this
context to connote the conflation of the binaries order/chaos, product/process,
modern/postmodern, individual/social to which this project refers.
