This project can be considered writing because we use symbols to convey what we mean. In fact, images can sometimes convey what we mean more accurately than with actual words.... Dear Data is kind of like another language that can be deciphered and read; Writing is usually used for the ease of convention but in this project it was something more unique. The use of symbols combined with the freedom of a reader's own interpretation and the authors’ different ways to communicate it, Dear Data makes writing fun. This type of writing conveys a little bit of the personality and character of the author since the designs, symbols and legends are all one's own inventions!
