In Giorgia Lupi and Stefanie Posavec's introduction to the Dear Data project, they explained that "data can describe the hidden patterns found in every aspect of our lives, from our digital existence to the natural world around us. I connected with this quote because that was one of the most important lessons I personally learned through this project. I want to emphasize the words "hidden patterns" because the everyday habits that I formed in the past years had gone blindly unnoticed until this project. By studying the small details in my life, I drew in key elements of the bigger picture of current self that I once thought was complete.
