The whole postmodern thing definitely seems to apply only to Western Europe, the United States, and maybe a few other places. I wonder what people in Bangladesh think about the postmodern debate. I mean, millions of people on this planet have better things to do, like make sure that their family has enough food to eat. The whole technological revolution, like the sexual revolution, will probably pass them by. Not everyone has a telephone, much less a computer. It is ridiculous to think that anything about postmodernism will touch these people's lives for a long, long time.
