This sort of thinking only leads to limitations. Just look at what the United States government has tried to impose on cyberspace, censorship. There can't be restrictions placed on the internet. To do this would mean closing the door on a new world that has so much to offer. We must put away our fears and explore the world of cyberspace. This is the future and there is no use in denying it any longer. One of our ddoctrinesupholds freedom of speech in addition to freedom of life, liberty, and property. Nobody owns cyberspace, so no group or government should impose any restriction on it. Cyberspace is a world for everyone. There there is no race or status, only information. As the new wave of cyberpunks declare, "information is free." |
