When simply reading my own papers I tend to overlook the flaws as I am too close to the writing. Since it is my own, I must have accepted it once (that is, when I wrote it), so I will wind up accepting it every time I read it thereafter. By reading similar papers written by others I can objectively spot mistakes and then connect them to problems of my own which I was previously overlooking...In summary, I am glad that I had the opportunity to work on Mice Tales. It is an experience I know that other freshmen at NYU aren’t getting (not even in other computer sections), and I feel fortunate to have been in this section working on this magazine.
