Hitchhikers Guide to the MacLab & Terminal Thinking |
I think for all of us, no matter how much we think about print and digital issues, the answers are still overwhelmingly both . . . I wanted to illustrate this point by offering voices of students who learned to write in a computerized writing class and yet focused their term's work on making a book. "Mice Tales" are the voices of my NYU students from the late '80s. I think the next progression for me as a teacher is evident in the ways students have encountered a computerized writing class and in how my current students at USC have progressed to a "zine" stage with their "Hungry Eyes." The point of this direction is to show how some of the theory in hypertext greatest hits flowers into hypertextual learning.
