I would be the first to admit
that classrooms do not have to be masculine in their feel, so to speak.
All I'm saying is that the configuration of the lab/classroom and the technology
itself--its squareness and rigidity, its weight and footprint, so to speak
is pretty solid, strong, immobile...Not like talking with a person in the
flesh, face to face. Many teachers find this conversation satisfying and
it is not just on an intellectual level.
