Scott Warnock, PhD, is an assistant professor of English at Drexel University (www.drexel.edu/coas/engphil/ ), where he coordinates the English Department’s online first-year writing initiative. He is co-author of the writing handbook The Writing Tutor, and he writes and presents at national conferences about issues in the field of computers and composition. Warnock has been a freelance writer for a decade and has published hundreds of journalistic articles for trade medical publications. He is also co-founder of Subjective Metrics, Inc., a company created to develop Waypoint, a writing assessment and peer review software (www.gowaypoint.com).
