I like Joyce's mother's "distinctive definition" of a cyborg better than
Haraway's. I offer it here simply because it is too perfect to pass up.
"Those dizzy bastards who claim that just because they're spinning the
world has changed." To which son Michael replies "Spinning the
world does change...we are left dizzied and wondering how to use what we
know in order to make our way" (2).
