2007ConclusionMorrisLast Word
As I had an introduction I feel as though I should have a conclusion. If I could figure out that metaphor, I'd certainly go back to talking about National Transportation Week. Maybe, now, I can say that there is some sort of extended metaphor in the fact that the signs were up, due to a technological glitch, for an entire extra week following the conference. But the only place I can really stretch it to is that after this conference, I'm clearly “going places.” I'm following up interesting threads now that tie video production to just about everything, really, and reconsidering ways to drag fandom and new media excitement into my composition classroom. I've been happy to hear so many positive things about our city (we know our campus has a great location, it's sometimes startling to hear other people say so). I'd like to thank everyone, once again, for coming to Detroit and making C&W 2007 such a success (more than we had hoped for, really).
