It is now routine for organizers of conferences to post Web pages to announce conferences, call for papers, list conference sessions, make available travel and lodging information, and in many cases maintain follow-up information, such as a links to the next year's conference site and archived conference presentations. Conference sites may include information for pre-conference discussions on substantive topics, some held via email list, others via asynchronous computer conference, still others via MOO sessions. See this year's  Computers and Writing conference Web site, for instance.
