Beth Hewett’s book provided a good balance of writing theory, pedagogy, and practice for teachers and/or tutors of online writing instruction. While the author stated the content is designed to provide online conference instruction for the novice teacher or tutor, the concepts, approaches, and detailed examples of problem-centered lesson conferencing would be beneficial for any online writing teacher or tutor to include in their "best practices" repertoire.
