NCTE 96 Conference Reflections

The NCTE Annual Convention in Chicago (November 21-26, 1996) brought the usual flurry of activity and interest in computers-in-writing among language arts teachers from around the nation. We have gathered several of their voices in this retrospective of that convention, including a comprehensive report from National Writing Project Fellow Michelle Rogge; the Assembly for Computers in English summary from its leader, Michael Day; and a few session summaries from ACE Board Member Sharon Hurwitz.
