Linguistics Applied: Cross-Disciplinary Connections Among Linguistics, Literature, Composition, and...

We invite papers addressing the relationships that exist (or might exist) between linguistics and other disciplines. How does linguistics inform and respond to work in literature, composition, and other fields? How does linguistic study inform classroom practices, course design, and other elements of teaching? How might linguistic study inform public debate about educational issues? What is the role of linguists, and linguistic study, in public discourse and an increasingly interdisciplinary university?
