The following quotation from the
core section of our collaborative webtext is a particularly appropriate
way to introduce my own contribution to this collection. I am hoping
that I can use it as a way in to
my own discussion about CHAT (Cultural-historical activity theory),
or at least about the CHAT-related ideas that I use to inform
my research and teaching.
This excerpt highlights the point at which I entered the CHAT framework—from a position as a researcher interested in digital media. However, my interest in digital media has been exponentially expanded by the kind of CHAT-based remapping we've discussed in the core text. |
