Play Movie
This link plays the student-produced "feature" video that is at the center of Rich's and Cheryl's arguments. Feel free to watch it a few times. Watch it closely and critically.
-
Scene Selection
This link allows you to choose which of the six scenes in the feature movie you'd like to see. Commentary from Cheryl (an analytical reading of the text) is provided as part of this option for each embedded video.

Special Features
This link leads to a submenu with lots of fun features, including:
- Making-Of documentaries presented in a variety of media,
- Trailers (abstracts of this scholarly text),
- Storyboards,
- Focus group information (the C&W audience; this section includes the assessment rubric created there),
- biblographies, and
- reviews of this text.
- Commentary
This section features commentary from both authors. Cheryl provides a reading of the student text in her commentary, and Rich provides a rationale for why teachers need to pay attention to schmoozy, digital texts (such as the student's text could be considered).
- Languages
This last section includes the languages that support Rich's and Cheryl's arguments – that is, the language of theory. Literature reviews and rationales are provided from fields such as aesthetics, composition, rhetoric, and assessment.
