Rethinking The Academy:

Two Texts as One Document


Readers who do not see a mouse click as anything more than a simple transition from one place in a text to another, that is, who read two texts as one document, are very much aware of the nature of the web. In fact, ownership of texts becomes problematic when I can put in links to the text created by others in my own texts. At the very least, there is an association to the two texts that may have never been intended by the original author.
