I felt a sense of importance in discovering things about myself that I did not realize before I started the project. My main realization had to do with my social part of the hypertext. My social issue that I researched was eating disorders. Before I started the project I thought I was choosing the topic becuase I had a lot of friends with eating disorders and I wanted to learn about what causes it and what the disease does to their bodies. What I realized upon completing my project was that I am a prime candidate for an eating disorder. By researching and including personal sections to the mystory I learned that eating disorders are a big part of my life, not only because of my friends, but because of myself as well. If I had not done the research and experimented with different ways of self-searching, I would never have realized why I was drawn to studying about eating disorders.
