Instead of detaching myself from my objects of study, I was able to discover how I connected with them. After doing research, I found that I connected with my entertainment text, Natural Born Killers, because of my fear of violence and helplessness. I originally thought it was just the fact that there was so much unnecessary violence in the movie.
